Getting set up and connected with your grounding product:

For the best experience, we recommend direct skin contact with the Earthing® product.  However the sleep mats and pillow covers can be placed beneath a 100% natural fibre bedsheet/cover (e.g. cotton, bamboo, linen, silk) and you’ll still be grounded

Each Earthing® pack includes a connector cord and socket adapter.

  1. Pop the black connector cord onto the metal stud of your product.
  2. Place the metal pin at the other end of the connector cord into one of the socket adapter holes (each adapter has two holes to connect more than one grounding product).
  3. Plug the Earthing® socket adapter into the wall socket.

You are now correctly connected to the earth and begin being grounded.

Grounding does NOT require any electrical power and only connects to the “earth” copper wire within the wall socket.  The wall switch does not need to be ON, however, it won’t matter or make a difference if it is.

If you have insufficient wall sockets available, you can also connect your Earthing® socket adapter to a power extension cable instead.

To clean, simply wipe down with warm soapy water.  Avoid chemical cleaners

Products

Earth provides us with “electric nutrition,” through a limitless supply of electrons.  These electrons give the ground, lakes and oceans a natural negative electric charge.  potent painkilling, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and stress reducing properties.

Research demonstrates that direct contact with the earth (or ground) our bodies absorb the electrons through our skin and restores and stabilizes the bioelectrical circuitry that governs our body.  It recharges and thins our blood, enhances immune function, and powerfully and quickly knocks down inflammation, pain and stress.

Going barefoot ( i.e. sit, stand, walk, run) outside directly on the earth, or you can swim/paddle in the sea/lake/river, for 30 minutes or more each day. On land, conductive surfaces for being grounded/earthing include soil, grass, sand, gravel, and rock. Concrete is also conductive. Moist surfaces are more conductive than dry. You cannot ground yourself on asphalt, vinyl, and wooden surface; they are not conductive.

If your daily routine, the weather, or surface conditions don’t accommodate outdoor grounding, you can conveniently ground yourself indoors whilst at home or at work using the sleep mat, sleep pillow or the univeral earthing mat. The best opportunity to gain the many benefits of earthing indoors is to sleep grounded.

Earthing products are designed to be used with an Earthing ground rod placed in the soil outside next to a window or door, or via a grounded wall socket outlet inside the home or office.

The first thing you need to know is that Earthing products DO NOT operate on electricity, they simply allow the natural, gentle energy from the Earth outside to be carried inside. When you make physical — bare skin — contact with the Earthing product it is the same as if you were standing or walking barefoot outside.

There is nothing wrong with using an Earthing sleep product with any electrical devices as long as those devices are in good working order.

No. They simply ground you by transferring the Earth’s energy through the ground port of a properly grounded outlet or from a ground rod placed directly in the Earth. The energy passes through a cord to the conductive Earthing product specially designed for human grounding. When your body comes in contact with an Earthing product you absorb the Earth’s energy. Earthing products are like “barefoot substitutes,” enabling you to receive the outside energy of the Earth inside your home or office.

No. Earthing products and the cords that connect them are designed only to conduct the Earth’s energy to you. They do not conduct any electrical power that operates your lights and appliances. You connect your Earthing product to the ground (earth) contact of a wall outlet or to a ground rod planted in the soil outside. All Earthing cords have a built-in 100 kilo-Ohms resistor providing protection in the unlikely case of an electric current flowing into the grounding wire such as when you touch a metallic object or appliance that is electrically charged due to a short-circuit in it.

No need to unplug them. Just leave them plugged in at the outlet unless you are going to move them to another room. Earthing products don’t “run” on electricity. They aren’t running up any bill when you leave them plugged in.
