The Earth’s electrical energy maintains the order of our own bodily functions, it keeps everything in harmony.
We are electrical beings after all.
Each of us is a dynamic electrical circuit consisting of trillions of cells that transmit and receive energy throughout their biochemical reactions.
The movement of nutrients and water into the cells is regulated by electric fields, and each type of cell has a frequency range in which it operates.
Your heart.
Your brain.
Your nervous system.
Your muscles.
Your immune system.
These are all example of electrical sub-systems operating within your bioelectric body.
The natural frequencies of the earth are waves of energy caused by the motions of subatomic particles called free electrons.
Electrons have a negative charge, and it is these electrons that give the earth’s surface a natural, negative charge, constantly fed by rain and lightening strikes around the earth.
Maintaining contact with the ground allows your body to naturally receive, and become charged with, these electrons, which in turn, reduces the electrical imbalances within the body and the oxidative free radicals (that are short of an electron) involved in chronic inflammations and disease.
When in touch with the ground, your body’s natural electrical state is restored.
This is grounding……..which is why we encourage you all to “be grounded” as often as possible.
Make sure you connect with the earth every day in some way.
Even just a few minutes here and there all add up.
There’s a whole lot of stuff happening to your body when you are grounding ……right from the very first second that your skin is in touch with the earth’s energy.
The more often and the longer you can be grounded, the more your whole body system will benefit, which is why it is so important to make this a regular health habit.
Feet and hands are the easiest to connect to the ground.
Even if you slip one shoe/sock off and discretely touch the ground whilst waiting at the school pick up time, you will be benefiting from the healing electrons!
Even more importantly, let the kids know that connecting to the earth is ok and healthy for them as it will serve them well throughout their life.
Within seconds, your skin voltage readings normalise, muscle tension decreases, and your brain wave patterns relax.
Within minutes, your blood circulation is improving, your heart rate variability improves and you have more oxygen passing around your body.
Within hours, your cortisol levels decrease, your blood sugar stabilise and your thyroid function improves.
Within days, inflammation decreases, pain reduces, you have improved sleep and your blood pressure lowers.
This timeline is a typical response, and may differ from person to person but grounding is GREAT for you!
Start today if you’ve never tried it before.
Commit to a regular grounding habit if you can and make it a key part of your day-to-day life.
Most people begin to feel better soon after they start grounding, however, some people can feel unusual when starting out.
Someone who is poorly with various symptoms may feel the difference dramatically, but someone with radiant health & who sleeps well may not feel a significant difference.
There may be some tingling in the body, as is sometimes experienced when strolling barefoot along the wet sand at the beach or on damp grass. The tingling sensation, probably due to improved circulation & infusion with the earth’s healing energy, usually dissipates quickly.
In the beginning, some people may feel flu-like symptoms that include malaise, achiness, headache, a foggy mind, tiredness. Muscle cramps & disturbed sleep might occur.
Observations suggest that a healing, normalisation process is underway because of grounding’s ability to improve blood flow & oxygenation of the tissues as well as restore a natural electrical state in the body.
Systemically, more efficient cell repair & function takes place, promoting a clear-out of wastes & toxins.
Nerve fibres may function better, resulting in unaccustomed sensations.
Grounding has given the body additional resources to clean up & try to return to normal. Energy is expended in this process, so people sometimes feel initial fatigue before feeling increased energy. These responses vary from person-to-person, & when they occur, generally ease within a week or two.
Should any such initial discomfort be too intense, we recommend stopping grounding at night & resume with shorter exposure, such as 30 minutes or an hour during the day. Exposure can then be gradually increased over a week or two, allowing your body to adjust.
Be sure to stay well hydrated & drink plenty of water to help the body flush out wastes & be more conductive! Dehydration can impair the effect of grounding in the body.
