The Earthing® Elite range of sleep mats are made of a Polyurethane (PU) resin, is vinyl-free and phthalate-free, consumer friendly and safe. It has been 3rd party tested to be free of lead, Azo dyes

The new style PU is essentially a carbon infused layer on top of the cotton grid pattern ensuring durability and conductivity.

The carbon-infused layer is similar to fake leather with a soft, buttery feel on the skin.

Some people like sleeping directly on the sleep mats and others prefer to use a natural fibre bedsheet on top (e.g. cotton, bamboo).

Conductive Carbon Pigment: Carbon is the 2nd most abundant element in the human body (after oxygen) and is what conducts the earth’s energy. It also makes the mat naturally flame-resistant without needing to add harsh chemicals.

Cleaning – the conductive black carbon material is inherently antimicrobial and can be wiped down with a damp cloth.

For an occasional deeper clean, we recommend a simple 3-step cleaning process:

Wipe down the outside of your product using a damp cloth mixed with a small amount of mild household soap.
Let your product air dry.

***Important: Never use a cleaning agent containing bleach, disinfectants, oils, or whitening agents as they can ruin the conductivity of your Earthing® product. Never put your product in the washing machine or tumble-dryer.

Do you put the Mattress Cover over or under your fitted sheet?

Either! Direct skin contact is always best so placing the Mattress Cover on top of your fitted sheet is ideal. However, the Mattress Covers are designed to 100% ground you when placed under your bedsheet as well, as your body’s natural moisture and perspiration throughout the night will ensure good conductivity. Your bedsheets should be made of cotton, bamboo, or a poly-cotton blend. We recommend no more than one fabric layer between your skin and the Sleep Mat.

Got my grounding sheet for Christmas and id say the 1st few weeks I didn’t notice much change but after around 6 weeks I really felt the difference! I’ve suffered with my neck for years and can’t get to the bottom of it, anyway no more pain, waking up with headaches, nothing! I would 1 million percent recommend this sheet to anyone! I finally bought the Earthing Elite King Size Mattress cover. For quite a while I had the small grounding mat on my bed, but wasn’t really getting the full benefits.
So glad I bought this product! Sleeping way better since I started using it! The quality and feel of the materials are excellent.
I believe the company BEGROUNDED source their products from is Earthing, founded by Clint Ober, who started all the instrumental research into Grounding/Earthing.
I would highly recommend this product and the Company itself!

This is such a good idea and we have both benefitted immensely from sleeping on the grounding sheet under our cotton sheet. Our sleep quality is much improved and we both waken up feeling refreshed in the morning. We are much more alert and feel generally healthier and more energetic. My husband in particular has seen a dramatic difference in his lifestyle. Because of a heart condition he has needed to have an hours sleep after breakfast and then again after lunch – but this has stopped since we got the grounding sheet. He has been given about 14 extra hours a week back! We are telling as many people as we can because you don’t want to keep such a good thing to yourself.

Getting set up and connected with your grounding product:

For the best experience, we recommend direct skin contact with the Earthing® product. However the sleep mats and pillow covers can be placed beneath a 100% natural fibre bedsheet/cover (e.g. cotton, bamboo, linen, silk) and you’ll still be grounded

Each Earthing® pack includes a connector cord and socket adapter.

Pop the black connector cord onto the metal stud of your product.
Place the metal pin at the other end of the connector cord into one of the socket adapter holes (each adapter has two holes to connect more than one grounding product).
Plug the Earthing® socket adapter into the wall socket.

You are now correctly connected to the earth and begin being grounded.

Grounding does NOT require any electrical power and only connects to the “earth” copper wire within the wall socket. The wall switch does not need to be ON, however, it won’t matter or make a difference if it is.

If you have insufficient wall sockets available, you can also connect your Earthing® socket adapter to a power extension cable instead.

To clean, simply wipe down with warm soapy water. Avoid chemical cleaners

Earth provides us with “electric nutrition,” through a limitless supply of electrons. These electrons give the ground, lakes and oceans a natural negative electric charge. potent painkilling, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and stress reducing properties.

Going barefoot ( i.e. sit, stand, walk, run) outside directly on the earth, or you can swim/paddle in the sea/lake/river, for 30 minutes or more each day. On land, conductive surfaces for being grounded/earthing include soil, grass, sand, gravel, and rock. Concrete is also conductive. Moist surfaces are more conductive than dry. You cannot ground yourself on asphalt, vinyl, and wooden surface; they are not conductive.

If your daily routine, the weather, or surface conditions don’t accommodate outdoor grounding, you can conveniently ground yourself indoors whilst at home or at work using the sleep mat, sleep pillow or the univeral earthing mat. The best opportunity to gain the many benefits of earthing indoors is to sleep grounded.

Earthing products are designed to be used with an Earthing ground rod placed in the soil outside next to a window or door, or via a grounded wall socket outlet inside the home or office.

The first thing you need to know is that Earthing products DO NOT operate on electricity, they simply allow the natural, gentle energy from the Earth outside to be carried inside. No. Earthing products and the cords that connect them are designed only to conduct the Earth’s energy to you. They do not conduct any electrical power that operates your lights and appliances. You connect your Earthing product to the ground (earth) contact of a wall outlet or to a ground rod planted in the soil outside. All Earthing cords have a built-in 100 kilo-Ohms resistor providing protection in the unlikely case of an electric current flowing into the grounding wire such as when you touch a metallic object or appliance that is electrically charged due to a short-circuit in it.

No need to unplug them. Just leave them plugged in at the outlet unless you are going to move them to another room. Earthing products don’t “run” on electricity. They aren’t running up any bill when you leave them plugged in.
